Senior Guy Session in Colleyville

Let’s face it. Most of the time senior guys aren’t that interested in having graduation pictures taken. One or two snaps with Mom’s phone camera is good enough for them. However, Mom really wants quality images to document and celebrate this special time in her son’s life. That’s where I come in. I love photographing senior guys because I know that at some point during the session, they all start to enjoy themselves…some even ask for a few more poses before it’s all said and done. That’s what I call a win!

Johnathon was an exception to the guy-anti senior photos-thing. He actually looked forward to his session! I’ve known Johnathon for several years through our homeschooling journey and even taught him at our coop. He’s an amazing young man who loves his family, his Lord, and his country. Even though we had to fight the wind on this early spring day in North Texas, I totally enjoyed our time together and found it extra special that he wanted pictures with his younger brothers. They’re going to miss him terribly when he heads off to college in a few weeks, but I know they’re very excited for him as well. It goes without saying how his parents feel about him leaving the nest, but you’ll see their pride and adoration on their faces in the pictures below.

So, what’s the point? Moms, even if your son protests senior pictures, do them anyway! It doesn’t take much time, I’ll help you decide on a location and wardrobe ideas, and I’ll make your son feel comfortable in front of my camera. With two sons of my own, I know how they think!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at a few pictures from Johnathon’s session in Colleyville.
